Gemma & Nigel’s Wedding in Oxfordshire

Categories: Oxfordshire Wedding Videos, Wedding DVDs, Wedding Video Demo, Wedding Video Editing, Wedding Video Examples, Wedding Video Ideas, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videography, Wedding Videos

The anticipation began to build quite early on in the day at the family home as Gemma began to prepare for her church wedding. Our camera crew was there to film as she did her make-up and hair and prepared herself for her wedding day. She wasn’t alone, with plenty of family on hand to help her steady her nerves and give her a giggle along the way. When she was all dressed in her wedding gown, she made the loveliest of brides! We used a mixture or black & white and colour footage, cutting and interspersing to give a nice texture to the behind-the-scenes footage of her wedding day. Nigel had his own preparations to undergo including receiving a very manly boutonniere on his lapel! Nigel and Gemma were soon ready to move on for their church wedding.

The Oxfordshire country church, a charming little stone building, was already getting filled up with their loved ones waiting for the bride & groom. The ceremony didn’t disappoint and when it was over they retreated outside into the glorious sunshine. We used this time to get about filming the groups of guests as they chatted, took photographs and admired Nigel & Gemma. Gemma rode to the reception on the back of a horse being led by her new husband! What a way to go. We hope it is only the first of many great adventures for Gemma and Nigel and we wish them all the very best.

Rupert & Lalani’s Wedding at the Hurlingham Club

Lalani and Rupert pulled out all the stops for their wedding in London. The day began with a lovely church wedding at St Mary’s Church, a really pretty little stone church which was soon filled with all their closest friends and family. Lalani arrived at the door in a chauffeur driven vintage Rolls Royce – emerging from the car like Cinderella from her carriage. The choir was singing inside to herald her arrival. Lalani beamed as she walked up the aisle to meet Rupert and exchange wedding vows.

The reception was at the Hurlingham Club and its well-tended lawns were the ideal setting for photographs. We enjoyed filming all the laughter and horsing-around which accompanied the wedding photography – this is a clearly a group of friends who enjoy themselves. As the photos were taking place, the remaining wedding guests had a chance to admire the sculptures in the Hurlingham grounds and enjoy a glass of champagne in the sun. Soon it was time to retreat inside for the wedding breakfast where tables were well-laden with beautiful floral arrangements. Lalani and Rupert made a splash on the dance floor executing a very elegant first dance – no shuffling feet here! The live band soon had all the guests up on their feet enjoying a boogie. All-in-all a fantastic wedding day for Lalani and Rupert.

St Mary Brookfield Church, an imposing red-brick London church, was the setting for Lucy & Nick’s church wedding. The high vaulted ceiling of the church drew the eye upwards past the stained glass windows and allowed bountiful daylight to stream in which were optimal conditions for filming. The elegant groomsmen in their morning suits made sure that everyone was seated, comfortably ready for Lucy’s grand arrival to the church (in a gorgeous vintage Rolls Royce). Lucy was a beautiful bride and all eyes were on her as she walked down the aisle where Nick stood ready to give her a quick kiss.

When the ceremony was complete, our beaming happy couple walked hand in hand out of the church where they were showered with confetti and posed for photographs. Throughout, they kissed each other and glowed with happiness. The reception took place at Kenwood House where the champagne stood ready to greet the wedding party. To the music of the fiddle and guitar duo, they enjoyed some time to visit with all of their guests. The bucolic lawns of Kenwood House made a suitable backdrop for wedding photos and the August sunshine meant that guests lingered outside as long as they could. They were drawn inside by the promise of a wonderful meal – a promise which was definitely fulfilled. Lucy & Nick, we wish you all the best!

Keely & Simon’s Wedding at Claridges Hotel

Categories: London Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

Claridges Hotel, in London’s Mayfair area, is one of a small handful of the world’s best hotels. From its sumptuous facilities to its attentive service, it is a wonderful place to spend any amount of time in. So for Keely & Simon to hold their civil wedding reception at the hotel was an inspired choice and pleasure for us to be a part of. The civil service was at the Chelsea Old Town Hall where a small group of their closest friends and family were privy to the ceremony. Keely made a stylish entrance with a white fur cape on over her dress trailed by several flower girls. The ceremony was lovely and simple and soon they were pronounced man and wife to thunderous applause. The entire wedding party gathered on the steps in front of the Town Hall for a photograph and then it was back to Claridges for the reception.

The hotel surpassed expectations with stunning white floral displays on the long table set for them in the Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Before eating, the guests enjoyed a glass of champagne and a chance to visit while the harpist played. The food and the service lived up to the hotel’s reputation and when the last guest left it was with a smile on their face. We thank Keely & Simon for allowing us to be part of their special day.

Jennifer & Stephen’s Wedding at Ramster House

Categories: Surrey Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos, West Sussex Wedding Videos

Jennifer & Stephen’s church wedding at Sacred Heart Church in West Sussex was one of those perfect late summer weddings where the sun was bright and the church gleamed in the light. All the guests took their time lingering outside on the steps before taking their seats inside the lovely stone church. Jennifer arrived at the church with a beautiful smile on her face which only got stronger as she walked up the aisle. We had one camera trained on her the whole time as she entered the church in order to capture the whole moment of her walking up the aisle to meet Stephen. After the ceremony they walked out of the church hand in hand to be showered with confetti. They climbed into the classic automobile and took off for their reception at Ramster House.

This wonderful reception venue in Surrey, was set up to take advantage of the late summer sun, so guests were able to enjoy a drink in the garden while they wedding party had photographs taken. When it came time to head inside for the wedding banquet the room was set up beautifully. A lot of care had gone into setting up all the place settings and decorations (and we were able to get some footage of it all before the guests arrived!). After dining, Jennifer and Stephen took to the floor for their first dance together – it was a beautiful moment and we are sure it won’t be their last. Congratulations guys!

Preeti & Rajesh’s Sikh Wedding

Categories: London Wedding Videos, Sikh Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

Preeti & Rajesh held their Sikh wedding at the Shepherds Bush Gurdwara on a lovely late summer day. The guests arrived to the gleaming white building with a sense of anticipation. Preeti arrived in her pretty pink sari followed by Rajesh in a vivid turban and when they met on the steps they presented each other with flowered garlands. The ceremony was well-attended and filled with rich colours and traditions.

The reception was held at one of London’s best hotels overlooking Hyde Park, the Inter-Continental Hotel Park Lane. The cars dropped all the guests off at the entrance and they were ushered inside where the drinks were poured and a string group were playing beautiful music. It was time for the celebration to begin. The bride and groom changed into new outfits and were led into the room by drummers. After eating, Preeti and Rajesh held each other on the dance floor for their first married dance together as husband and wife. Their guests looked on and took many photographs. Soon they were joined by other couples who filled up the dance floor. Even the children were involved. We enjoyed very much being a part of your wedding day and we wish Preeti and Rajesh much joy and happiness.

Lucy & Wassim’s ‘Lebanese’ Wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire

Categories: Hampshire Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

One of the things we love about shooting wedding videos is that no two are ever the same. Each video is stamped indelibly with the personality of the couple and our role is to respond to them and the kind of day they plan. For Lucy and Wassim’s wedding, there was no question that we wanted to capture their sunny, good natures and it was obvious that Lucy’s bright smile would light up the screen. The look on her face as Wassim slips the wedding band on her finger tells us all that we need to know about their love. The weather cooperated fully on that sunny September day and the casual shots of the bride and groom greeting their guests with champagne outside on the lawn of the Four Seasons Hampshire turned out really well.

That’s the great thing about civil weddings – people are more relaxed and comfortable about enjoying themselves. We made sure we shot lots of footage of Lucy and Wassim’s guests, and their reactions, to give a 360 degree view of the day’s events. The guitar and clarinet duo who serenaded guests at the wedding banquet were particularly great. Music is often an integral part of these things and it’s always nice to have something a little bit different. Oh, and let’s not forget the fireworks which wrapped up the day’s events. They really did end a wonderful day with a bang.

Paul & Ruhi’s Hindu Wedding

Categories: Hindu Wedding Videos, Leicester Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

Kelmarsh Hall is a nice red brick manor house set in the countryside between Leicester and Northampton. Paul & Ruhi thought it a suitable venue for their Anglo-Hindu wedding ceremony. The spacious interiors were well suited to a wedding with plenty of space for the guests to mingle about. This also afforded us the room to circulate with our camera and shoot lots of video of the wedding guests in the finery. There were some great hats on display! The civil ceremony was brief and ended in warm applause for the newly married husband and wife. The entire wedding party then moved outside to explore the luscious parklands and take wedding photographs (not to mention enjoy a glass of champagne). We particularly liked shooting everyone together on the stairs of the Hall – a nice memory of all the guests who shared in Paul & Ruhi’s day.

Guests moved inside for a spectacular dinner. The food was piled on the plate like a work of art and it seemed to go down a treat. Having been married in a civil ceremony, the couple now had a Hindu ceremony which was beautiful. Now married in both traditions, our couple took to the dance floor. The beaming smiles on their face make it clear how much they enjoyed their special day. Thanks for letting us be a part of it.

Alex & Rachel’s Wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire

Categories: Hampshire Wedding Videos, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

The Four Seasons Hampshire had something for both Alex and Rachel to help them get ready for their big wedding day. While Rachel and her bridesmaids were pampered with champagne while doing their hair and make-up, Alex and his grooms men took advantage of the Hampshire countryside to do some shooting. When both bride and groom were ready, they headed to the pretty little country church where they were having their church wedding. As the guests arrived they paused in front of the church to exchange greetings and admire its attractive stone structure. Rachel made a stunning entrance and soon her and Alex were standing at the altar saying ‘I do.’ They walked out of the church hand-in-hand where they were showered with confetti.

Back at the Four Seasons in beautiful rural Hampshire, the wedding guests enjoyed the landscaped hotel gardens while sipping on a glass of champagne. The string quartet was a nice choice, but the sketch artist who mingled about making caricatures of guests was a really inspired idea and he was a hit with the guests. The guests filed inside to take their places for the wedding breakfast. Post-dinner cocktails were served outside on the lawn; however the evening’s surprise had to be when the groomsmen took to the floor to show off their dance moves in a hilarious display! Well done guys. Thank you to Alex and Rachel for allowing us to be part of such a fun day.

Alex & Rachel’s Wedding – The Stag Dance!

Categories: Live Event Filming, Wedding Videographers, Wedding Videos

Check out these moves on display from Alex and his Stags – they put on a heck of a show at this fun wedding at the Four Seasons Hampshire. It started with just one of them doing his best Michael Jackson… but it didn’t end there, oh no. You have to say he’s got some pretty good moves going on complete with popping moon walk, no? Not to be shown up, one by one the stags also took to the floor to show off their stylish dance moves (well, some more stylish than others, but still…). It resulted in a kind of cross between Riverdance and Morris Dancing (with a dash of Monty Python thrown in for good measure). Perhaps not for purists, but very entertaining none-the-less. Dividing in half, they then began to compete with each other, each side trying to out-do the other. Someone put some real thought into these routines and the patterns they form on the dancefloor. Alright, their execution isn’t perfect, but is sure is funny and hats off to these guys for taking it on.

Not content to just give their audience one dance, the sunglasses came out ready for their next number – a rocking twisting booty-slapping selection! Highly entertaining and it was great for us to be there to film this live event.
