It was our first job with the newly released Sony Z7 camera and Dan & Dusan had the honour of christening (or should I say Sikhisming?) the new cameras. I came and supervised the filming of the ceremony on the Sunday morning which was at Hounslow Gurdwara. What is unusual about this Sikh wedding is that Toby is a non-Sikh American guy who lives and works in the UK. He and Bhupinder were a really nice couple, representing a cross cultural marriage with a real sense of openness. Both families were very warm and friendly and Toby and his father grew the customary beards for the occasion. The Sikh wedding reception was held afterwards in the secret garden at Syon Park this proved a lovely setting for enjoyable event. Love the way this video feels so natural, and really gets the people to relax and just come across as themselves.

Only in London to you get a Wedding Video like this.
We can expect to see more like this in the future and it really shows how cross cultural relations can be reflected in the Sikh Wedding Video – provided you have a good Sikh Wedding Videographer.
The market has previously been flooded with one man teams who do Sikh Weddings purely as a part time weekend job to earn extra cash and hence the work is usually expected to be at a hobbyist’s level of quality.
Now as the new generation gets married they are seeking out a higher level of service, employing professional Sikh Wedding Videographers to create a Sikh Wedding Video that is of a broadcast quality.
