Derek & Trudy’s Wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire

Derek and his mates started their wedding day off in a slightly unorthodox way – by going shooting. Perhaps is was the best way for him to deal with his nerves? Or maybe it was just an ideal way to take in some of the beautiful countryside at the Four Seasons Hampshire. Meanwhile Trudy’s preparations were a bit more traditional – she had the attention of makeup and hair artists making sure she looked her very best for her civil wedding. Bride and groom came together in front of their assembled guests and made some very heart-felt vows witnessed by their closest friends and family.

Afterwards there was a glass of champagne waiting for them and their guests in order to toast to their success. We all popped outside to get some photographs of the bride and groom plus the entire assembled wedding party (shot from above in order to fit them all in).  Soon enough it was time to head inside for supper – with each table softly lit by a candle. The kitchen did an amazing job of getting all the food plated up and out on time and the reports from the guests were all quite glowing. The day ended with a dance floor of happy guests dancing to the music – led by the bride and groom themselves. We wish much joy and happiness to Derek and Trudy.

Lucy & Wassim’s ‘Lebanese’ Wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire

One of the things we love about shooting wedding videos is that no two are ever the same. Each video is stamped indelibly with the personality of the couple and our role is to respond to them and the kind of day they plan. For Lucy and Wassim’s wedding, there was no question that we wanted to capture their sunny, good natures and it was obvious that Lucy’s bright smile would light up the screen. The look on her face as Wassim slips the wedding band on her finger tells us all that we need to know about their love. The weather cooperated fully on that sunny September day and the casual shots of the bride and groom greeting their guests with champagne outside on the lawn of the Four Seasons Hampshire turned out really well.

That’s the great thing about civil weddings – people are more relaxed and comfortable about enjoying themselves. We made sure we shot lots of footage of Lucy and Wassim’s guests, and their reactions, to give a 360 degree view of the day’s events. The guitar and clarinet duo who serenaded guests at the wedding banquet were particularly great. Music is often an integral part of these things and it’s always nice to have something a little bit different. Oh, and let’s not forget the fireworks which wrapped up the day’s events. They really did end a wonderful day with a bang.

Alex & Rachel’s Wedding at Four Seasons Hampshire

The Four Seasons Hampshire had something for both Alex and Rachel to help them get ready for their big wedding day. While Rachel and her bridesmaids were pampered with champagne while doing their hair and make-up, Alex and his grooms men took advantage of the Hampshire countryside to do some shooting. When both bride and groom were ready, they headed to the pretty little country church where they were having their church wedding. As the guests arrived they paused in front of the church to exchange greetings and admire its attractive stone structure. Rachel made a stunning entrance and soon her and Alex were standing at the altar saying ‘I do.’ They walked out of the church hand-in-hand where they were showered with confetti.

Back at the Four Seasons in beautiful rural Hampshire, the wedding guests enjoyed the landscaped hotel gardens while sipping on a glass of champagne. The string quartet was a nice choice, but the sketch artist who mingled about making caricatures of guests was a really inspired idea and he was a hit with the guests. The guests filed inside to take their places for the wedding breakfast. Post-dinner cocktails were served outside on the lawn; however the evening’s surprise had to be when the groomsmen took to the floor to show off their dance moves in a hilarious display! Well done guys. Thank you to Alex and Rachel for allowing us to be part of such a fun day.

On a fine day in mid-June we had the pleasure of filming the wedding of a premier league footballer and his lovely partner. It was hosted at Four Seasons Hampshire under the supervision of VIP wedding planner & designer Mark Niemierko.

We received the booking only the day before which meant we were a bit less prepared than usual, however we managed to co-ordinate the filming as we went along. The day started with the groom and his friends clay pigeon shooting whilst the bride and her entourage got ready. The wedding ceremony was held at a nearby church in the village of Dogmersfield. Mark’s team lavishly dressed the church to create a quintessential country feel and it was completely full for the ceremony!

Afterwards a drinks reception was held in the hotel’s fabulous Walled Garden. I’ve always believed that outdoor settings look better on film than indoor ones, and this garden really excels as a backdrop. Later on the wedding banquet was hosted inside the hotel with the cake cutting on the terrace accompanied by fireworks. The evening’s partying got off to a swing with a great band and the guests clearly enjoyed themselves. Below are highlights from the event.

On a warm Spring day towards the end of May two of our wedding videographers made their way down to one of our favourite venues the Four Seasons Hampshire to film the wedding of Deborah and Mark. It was a very tasteful and intimate wedding that provided a nice opportunity to create yet another very personal film. The couple were very open and I am sure soon forgot we were filming at all. I remember the best man’s speech as being particularly entertaining, surpassed only by the touching tribute from Deborah’s father. As with many weddings filmed at the Four Seasons the outdoor terraces provided a great backdrop for the drinks reception and the field of flames which laid out in the evening. I was happy when I first saw the footage and the video makes a good addition to our growing collection of weddings at the Four Seasons. We are currently editing two more weddings filmed at the Four Seasons Hampshire this Summer which will be uploaded in due course.

One of our favourite places for wedding videos in Hampshire is the Four Seasons Hotel in Dogmersfield, where we film many weddings each year. What is nice about the venue is the unstuffy warmth and hospitality of the staff combined a wonderful rural location. Our clients, Susan and David, opted to hold their wedding ceremony in the walled garden which is wonderful feature of the hotel and makes for a beautiful wedding video. David being a Kiwi decided to add a touch of his cultural heritage by having Maori dancers entertain his guests in the evening whilst a band also provided great entertainment. Our wedding videographer Dishad did a great job as always of filming the wedding and I am pleased with the results. You can see highlights of this Hampshire wedding video below:
